The injured in the Gen-G protests held in Kathmandu on Bhadra 23 and 24 have been classified. The District Administration Office, Kathmandu, has stated that the details of 169 people have been received and classified so far.

Assistant Chief District Officer Mukti Ram Rijal informed that the injured have been classified in two phases. The injured have been classified in four groups. There are 15 in the list of very seriously injured, 51 in the list of seriously injured, 36 in the list of moderately injured and 67 in the list of lightly injured, Rijal said.

According to him, the injured were classified in two phases on Mangsir 20 and 21. In the case of the disabled, the team went to the hospital where they were being treated and classified them.

In the case of those who were unable to come to the administration office, they were brought by ambulance and classified. The classification facilitation committee, coordinated by the Chief District Officer, has classified 169 people so far based on the Procedure for Classification of Injured Persons during the Genji Protest, 2082.

It is said that the administration office will complete the classification and send a recommendation to the Ministry of Health and Population, and on that basis, the ministry will decide and arrange for necessary services and social security according to the list of injured. Initially, the administration office had provided permits to 315 people for the Genji movement.
