The National Independent Party has appointed former Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG) Bishwaraj Pokharel as the senior advisor to the Central Disciplinary Commission.

The RSVP Secretariat meeting decided to give Pokharel, who joined the party on Friday, the responsibility of the Disciplinary Commission.

'It was decided to nominate former Additional Inspector General of Police Bishwaraj Pokharel as the senior advisor to the party's Central Disciplinary Commission and to nominate advocate Sushila Singhada as a member of the commission,' the RSVP Secretariat said in a statement issued after the meeting.

Similarly, the RSVP Secretariat meeting has formed a 'Candidate Selection Audit Committee' under the coordination of party treasurer Lima Adhikari, comprising members Prashant Pradhan, Anil Adhikari and Kumaranand Mishra.

The RSVP Secretariat has appointed Pradeep Timalsena (Sajan) and Mintira Lama as members of the Central Organization Department.
