Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has said that the activities of various groups holding demonstrations, sit-ins, processions and protest programs with various demands are being closely monitored. He said that effective security arrangements have been made keeping such activities in mind.
At a meeting of the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee under the National Assembly on Thursday, Home Minister Aryal said that the government is monitoring various groups as part of its plan to tighten peace and security arrangements.
'Activities such as demonstrations, sit-ins, protests, and rallies by various groups with various demands are being closely monitored, and effective security arrangements have been made in a coordinated manner,' Home Minister Aryal said.
Home Minister Aryal said that the government has also discussed the developments that have developed after the Gen-G movement and the situation after the political change. 'A help desk with mobile number 9851360603 has been established in the Home Ministry to facilitate any problems that may arise or occur in society after the developments that have developed after the demonstrations by the Gen-G youth generation.'
He informed that the government has held several meetings of the Security Committee and decided on a security strategy, targeting the upcoming House of Representatives elections and keeping in mind the overall peace and security of the country.
