Nearly 1,500 security personnel have been deployed for the UML's public rally to be held in Kathmandu today.

 

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Shailendra Thapa, Joint Spokesperson of the Armed Police Force Nepal (APF), 150 police officers of the Armed Police Force have been deployed, while more than 1300 police officers have been deployed in various places in Kathmandu.

A public meeting of UML is being held at Bhrikutimandap. The public meeting has been organized by the Bagmati Province Committee. Top leaders are scheduled to address the public meeting. Leaders and activists are heading to Bhrikutimandap along with a rally to participate in the public meeting.

UML had announced the 'National Volunteer Force' only on Friday.
