Police have arrested a couple who own a pharmacy with 23,800 units of banned and controlled drugs. According to the police, Nasib Narayan Chaudhary, the owner of Nasib Pharmacy in Itahari Sub-metropolitan City-12, and his wife Samjhana Chaudhary were arrested with the drugs.
The District Police Office, Sunsari, has said that a team from the Area Police Office, Itahari, Police Post Khanar and District Police Office, Bhojpur arrested them.
Police said that 19,800 capsules in 1,980 packets and 4,000 tablets of Tramadol in 400 packets were recovered from them. Police said that further investigation is underway against them.
