A black panther rescued from Ilam can now be seen at the Central Zoo in Jawalakhel.
Zoo chief Satyanarayan Sah said that the black panther has also been opened for viewing for visitors since Wednesday.
The leopard was rescued from Ilam on Bhadra 17 and brought to the zoo. Earlier, the leopard, which was kept under the direct supervision of a veterinarian, was kept for observation after returning to normal.
The leopard was found on Bhadra 16 inside a goat shed in Tank Kafle, Suryodaya Municipality-2, Bagbire.
Locals had informed the police after seeing two goats and a goat sitting in the shed. Then, a team from the National Trust for Nature Conservation Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve rescued it.
