Nepal Airlines Corporation has announced that the maintenance and test flight of the Twin Otter aircraft 'Alpha Bravo Tango', which has been serving remote areas of the country, has been successfully completed.

The aircraft had been grounded by the then Executive Chairman Yubaraj Adhikari for engine maintenance and annual inspection since September 2025.

Following the instructions of Acting General Manager Janakraj Kalakheti, the necessary repairs were completed on Monday and the test flight was successfully completed on Wednesday, a director of the corporation said.

Following the successful test of the damaged aircraft, Nepal Airlines has said that domestic commercial flights have resumed from Tuesday using both its Twin Otter aircraft.

Nepal Airlines has expressed confidence that with the return of both aircraft to operation, service facilities will be more convenient for passengers in remote areas of the eastern region.
