The two-day Third Para-Himalayan Communication and Social Development Symposium discussed issues of communication, digital governance, social development, and mutual cooperation in the Himalayan region.
Scholars, researchers and media experts from Nepal, America, China, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Sri Lanka, Japan and China participated in the symposium held at the Central Department of Journalism of Tribhuvan University in Kirtipur on Saturday. Students from various universities in the country and abroad also participated in the program.
Tribhuvan University Rector Khadak KC and Vice Chancellor Deepak Aryal addressed the first day of the conference.
The conference was jointly organized by the Central Department of Journalism of Tribhuvan University and the School of Public Administration of the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
