Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal is scheduled to hold talks with Durga Prasai, who has announced a protest since November 20.

After the administration issued a statement calling for dialogue, Prasai had written to Home Minister Aryal about his demands through Kathmandu Chief District Officer Ishwor Raj Poudel. After that, the Home Ministry has started preparations to hold talks with him.

According to a high-ranking source in the ministry, preparations are being made to hold talks with Prasai on 26 Kartik. Home Minister Aryal himself will hear his demands during that time. After Prasai announced that he would intensify the protest on the streets demanding the return of a Hindu nation and monarchy, some time ago, the security chiefs had also discussed the security challenges that could arise. At that time, it was also analyzed that the protest could be infiltrated and further chaos could occur.
