The Police Headquarters has sent a list of police officers deployed in the Kathmandu Valley to the Commission of Inquiry formed to investigate the Gen-G protests on Bhadra 23 and the situation that arose the following day.

The list of all the police officers deployed in the Kathmandu Valley, not just from Maitighar to Tinkune, but also under the Kathmandu Valley Police Office for two days, has been sent to the commission. A member of the commission said that the list sent by the police has been received. Now the commission is preparing to start their statements.

'The list of police officers deployed during the Gen-G movement has been received. We are preparing to call them for statements from today,' the member said.

Earlier, the police had given the answer to the commission that they were deployed in all fields, from the IGP to the jawan. After that answer, the commission had warned Inspector General of Police Chandrakuber Khapung of action and demanded details. The inquiry commission led by Gauri Bahadur Karki had demanded details for the investigation of the incidents of the 23rd and 24th.
