Around 15,000 students, whose answer sheets were burnt in arson during the Gen-G agitation and demonstration on Bhadra 23 and 24, have demonstrated at the office of the Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTEVT).

Students protested after CTEVT decided to re-conduct the exams from Mangsir 4.

According to CTEVT Member Secretary Mahesh Bhattarai, more than 15,000 answer sheets kept in various police offices have been destroyed and it has been decided to conduct the exams for those candidates from Mangsir 4.

The answer sheets kept in police offices of 23 examination centers, including 15 in Bagmati Province and 5 in Koshi Province, were burnt. CTEVT has stated that the answer sheets of diploma and pre-diploma levels have been destroyed.
