A meeting called by Prime Minister Sushila Karki with the Chief Ministers of all seven provinces to discuss the parliamentary elections to be held in Falgun is underway at the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar.

The meeting is the first time since the formation of the interim government to discuss the country's contemporary political issues and the elections to be held in Falgun.

Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Bahadur Karki, Madhesh Province Chief Minister Jitendra Prasad Sonar, Bagmati Province Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniya, Gandaki Province Chief Minister Surendra Raj Pandey, Lumbini Province Chief Minister Chet Narayan Acharya, Karnali Province Chief Minister Yamalal Kandel, and Sudurpaschim Province Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah are present in the meeting.

Prime Minister Karki has called for a meeting to further strengthen dialogue and cooperation between the federal and provincial governments in the changing situation, according to his secretariat.
