A prisoner who escaped from Sundhara Central Jail has been found to have taken a police gas gun with him.

During the investigation conducted by the Central Investigation Bureau (CIB), a gas gun was found with Bangsu Lama, alias Raja Tamang, who had escaped from prison.

According to CIB Chief AIG Manoj KC, four cartridges of bullets were also found with Lama. After the weapons were recovered, the 22-year-old Lama has been sent to the District Police Complex, Kathmandu for further action.

He was remanded in custody in the Central Jail as per the court order in the murder case.
