The driver's license service has been partially operational.

Due to the situation arising after the Gen-G movement, all services were suspended after the office of the Department of Transport Management located in New Baneshwor Minbhavan was set on fire. According to Keshav Khatiwada, Director of the Department, the license renewal service started operating from three Transport Management Offices in the Valley (Chabahil, Radheradhe and Ekantakuna) on Sunday.

'Preparations are being made to start this service across the country, including other offices in the Valley,' he said, 'Within a few days, the entire service, from license application to trial and renewal, will be started from all offices.'

The service was suspended after the department's server was also damaged in the vandalism and arson. Services at 42 Transport Management Offices across the country have been disrupted after the incident.
