Raut left for Bangladesh on Saturday for a 4-day visit at the invitation of Chief Justice Syed Refaat Ahmed. The Raut-led team left for Dhaka on Saturday via a Bangladeshi plane, Supreme Court spokesperson Arjun Prasad Koirala said in a statement.
The visiting team also includes senior-most judges Sapana Pradhan Malla and Binod Sharma and Chief Registrar Bimal Poudel.
Supreme Court Information Officer Nirajan Pandey informed that the responsibility of the acting Chief Justice has been given to Justice Kumar Regmi.
