Minister for Energy and Urban Development Kulman Ghising has said that the government will discuss the implementation of the suggestions and reports given by the constitutional commissions.
Stating that the government is committed to implementing the recommendations of the Constitutional Commission, he said that discussions will be held on issues that have not been implemented yet. At an interaction program organized by the Indigenous Peoples Commission in Lalitpur on Friday on the problems in implementing the recommendations of the commission and the next steps, Minister Ghising expressed his government's commitment to implementing the suggestions of the Constitutional Commission. He said, "The current government is committed to implementing the suggestions given by the commission. They should be implemented. We will discuss which issues have not been implemented. We should implement the recommendations in the tasks that the government should do and we will do it within the scope of the government."
Minister Ghising also said that there have been complaints that the government has not implemented 90 percent of the recommendations of the Constitutional Commission. He also said that he will talk to Prime Minister Sushila Karki regarding the implementation of the suggestions and report of the Constitutional Commission.
