The meeting of the Central Working Committee of the Nepali Congress was postponed on Friday after a dispute arose over the agenda of the regular general convention.

Central member Ramhari Khatiwada informed that the regular general convention schedule dispute has been resolved at an informal level and the meeting has been postponed to be held on Sunday.

After the acting president Purna Bahadur Khadka and general secretaries Gagan Thapa and Bishwaprakash Sharma could not reach an agreement in the morning meeting, all the leaders had reached Sanepa.

Informal talks were also held after the discussions of their respective groups in Sanepa. However, the establishment side had taken the stand of bringing the schedule in Baisakh after the Falgun 21 elections.

General secretaries Thapa and Sharma have taken the bottom line of Poush 16. If Thapa presented the Poush 26 schedule in the meeting, the establishment side had prepared to bring the Baisakh schedule to the counter.
