A corruption case has been filed against Tanka Bahadur Karki, Senior Accounts Officer (7th) of Dungeshwor Rural Municipality in Dailekh, who was arrested for accepting a bribe of Rs 100,000 from a service recipient.

According to CIAA spokesperson Rajendra Kumar Poudel, the charge sheet filed in the special court states that the investigation has confirmed that the defendant Karki 'took bribes on the pretext of facilitating and facilitating the final bill payment process of the municipal road upgrade project running from Jersey Chowk to Deuli Jadi in wards 1 to 5 of the municipality.
