A joint team of the Nepal Army, Armed Police Force, and Nepal Police has been deployed to rescue tourists who were traveling to Mustang via the Dhaulagiri Circuit in Myagdi due to snowfall.

The Armed Police Force has stated that efforts are underway to rescue 15 tourists, including 3 domestic tourists and 12 foreign tourists, who were stranded on the border of Mustang and Myagdi.

Security forces were mobilized for the rescue after the travel agency informed the security agencies, said Shailendra Thapa, Joint Spokesperson of the Armed Police Force.

According to him, when the tourists reach the stranded place, they have to walk for a day from the district headquarters.
