At a meeting between the government, political parties, and Gen-G held in Baluwatar, Sagar Dhakal said that the upcoming elections should be technology-friendly.

He said that those living abroad and in other districts should also be given the right to vote, and that he is of the opinion that the next election should be an improved election. 

Talking to reporters after the Baluwatar meeting, he said, "There are voters from Bhojpur and Taplejung in Kathmandu, how will they go there to vote? Corruption starts from the very fact of taking them there." 

He said that there was a discussion recently in Bangladesh about making arrangements for those living abroad to vote, and that he had also prepared a report on 'i-voting' and 'IBM voting'. 'In that, we mentioned that political parties, including Gen-G, have adopted technology and have made a movement, and said that the election should also be technology-friendly,' Dhakal said.
