Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut has appointed the bench in order of seniority. Along with Raut, the constitutional bench has been appointed comprising Sapna Pradhan Malla, Kumar Regmi, Hari Prasad Phuyal and Manoj Kumar Sharma.
The Constitutional Bench is hearing 16 writ petitions filed in the Supreme Court against the dissolution of the House of Representatives, seeking a writ of mandamus and a writ of summons to the Prime Minister's appointment, as well as the annulment of the dissolution of Parliament and the restoration of Parliament.
The Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court is set to hold a preliminary hearing on Wednesday on the writ petitions related to the appointment of an interim Prime Minister, dissolution of the House of Representatives and formation of the government after the Gen-G movement.
