Khemraj Saud, one of those who sought permission from the District Administration Office for the Gen-G movement, said that all parties were urged to participate in the elections at a meeting held in Baluwatar.
"Other parties have also said that they will support the Gen-G movement by institutionalizing its achievements, but the UML had a different view on that," he said. "There was talk of re-establishing the parliament, and we said that should not happen." Saud also said that everyone was unanimous in forming a new government through elections in the country under different circumstances. A tripartite discussion was held on Thursday evening at the initiative of Prime Minister Sushila Karki between the government, political parties, and Gen-G.
