Of the 28 police offices damaged during the Gen-G protests, 28 are still not operational. According to the police headquarters, 465 police offices across the country were damaged during the protests.

Of these, 118 were completely destroyed and 347 were partially damaged. Although most have been restored so far, 28 police offices are yet to be restored. According to the police, 19 police offices in the valley alone are yet to be restored. Similarly, 4 police offices in Koshi Province, 2 in Madhesh Province, and 3 in Bagmati Province were damaged. The most damage was caused by the Gen-G demonstration in the valley. Police said that 210 police offices, 64 of which were completely damaged and 146 partially damaged. According to the central police spokesperson, Deputy Inspector General of Police Binod Ghimire, many of the damaged structures have been restored with the active participation and support of the locals. According to Ghimire, the police offices that were not restored have also provided services by arranging alternative buildings.
