The Ministry of Home Affairs has included Deepak Singh Saud of Shivnath Rural Municipality-2, Baitadi, who was seriously injured after being shot during the Gen-G movement and demonstration held on Bhadra 23 and 24 and died during treatment.

The District Administration Office, Baitadi, issued a notice on Tuesday, requesting six people who were injured in the Gen-G movement and are permanently residing in Baitadi district to contact them to obtain their injured identity cards through a letter dated Asho 20 from the Ministry of Home Affairs.

‘Deepak, who was on the list of injured people, has died and his family has already received the financial assistance of Rs. 1.5 million provided by the government,’ he said. ‘According to this notice, the injured will be contacted, the deceased will not come.’ He said that the injured identity cards will be issued only after confirming the injured person.

Deepak, who was on the list of injured people published by the District Administration Office, died after being seriously injured in the Gen-G movement in Shivnath Rural Municipality-2, said Shivnath Rural Municipality Chairman Karn Singh Saud. 

Deepak, who had been camping in Kirtipur, Kathmandu for a year and preparing to go to Korea, was seriously injured in the Gen-G movement on Bhadra 24 after being shot. He died at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital in Kathmandu during treatment. 

Similarly, the District Administration Office Baitadi published a notice to distribute injured identity cards to those injured in the Gen-G movement. Manish Thagunna, Harish Bhul, Basu Pujara, Laxman Bhandari and Harikrishna Bhandari from Baitadi are listed in the notice.
