Minister for Health and Population Dr. Sudha Gautam has said that the sacrifices of the martyrs and injured of the Gen-G movement should not be allowed to go in vain.

She said this while talking to media persons after meeting with the injured of the Gen-G movement who are undergoing treatment at the KMC Hospital in Sinamangal on Monday morning.

According to Minister Gautam, the KMC Hospital has treated 83 people injured during the movement and 2 of them are still undergoing treatment. One of the injured being treated is a woman and she said that a petrol bomb was thrown at her during the movement. Another injured person is undergoing treatment after being shot and both of them are recovering, she informed.

She said, ‘KMC has treated 83 Gen-G injured. Now I have seen two patients, all the others have recovered and returned. It was very sad to see that a petrol bomb was thrown at a woman during the movement. Another person was shot, his condition is also improving. The hospital has done a very good job in the treatment. The sacrifice of so many martyrs and injured people should not go in vain. We are all aware of that. We should not forget the issue of good governance.’
