Complaints are to be filed in courthouses across the country over the vandalism that occurred on Bhadra 24. The Full Court meeting held on Sunday* decided to file complaints against all damaged courts at the police office for investigation.
Supreme Court Spokesperson Arjun Koirala informed that all the damaged courts will file a complaint with the concerned District Police Office and provide the evidence they have. He said that the court will file a complaint for investigation without naming anyone. During the protest, 23 courts, including the Supreme Court, have been damaged. This damage has been divided into three categories. The courts have been divided into complete damage, normal damage and partial damage.
Regarding the physical structure of the Supreme Court, the main building of the court, the guard house, the security personnel building, the information room, the printing house and the waiting room have been completely damaged.
In addition, all the benches and chambers in the main building have been damaged to the point of being unusable. In terms of four-wheeled vehicles, 13 of the judges, 30 of the court users, 66 of the court's motorcycles and 36 scooters and 4 private motorcycles have also been completely damaged.
Due to arson and looting, 94 missile racks, 279 tables, 101 tea tables, 682 wood-steel chairs, 100 benches, 392 steel drawers, 279 racks, 26 stools, 309 book cases, 74 kitchen racks, 69 sofa sets, 94 cabinet counters, 23 educational tables and 47 computer tables have been completely damaged. In addition, about 20,0034 active missiles and about 197,000 archive missiles have also been completely destroyed by burning.
