Five Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs) of Nepal Police have been recommended for promotion to the post of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG).
The Secretariat meeting of the Home Ministry Promotion Committee on Sunday recommended five SSPs from the Nepal Police District Group for promotion to DIG.
Those recommended for promotion are Bhupendra Bahadur Khatri, Sanuram Bhattarai, Om Prasad Adhikari, Shekhar Khanal and Abhi Narayan Kafle.
They were promoted as per Sub-rule (4) of Rule 27 of the Police Regulations, 2071 (with amendments), informed the Promotion Committee Member Secretary and Additional Inspector General of Police (AIG) Rajan Adhikari.
