CPN-Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that a new polarization of leftist unity could be seen after Chhath.

Talking to media persons in Janakpurdham on Wednesday morning, he said that the parties in the Socialist Front have reached the stage of unity. ‘In the context of leftist unity and polarization, the parties in the Socialist Front have reached the stage of unity,’ he said, ‘You can see a new unity after Chhath.’

Stating that the elections should be held on time, he suggested that the government should seriously create an environment for the elections. ‘Yesterday’s meeting gave the impression that the government was moving towards elections, but the environment for elections has not yet been created,’ he said.

Dahal claimed that the interim government decided to hold elections first after announcing the elections and that the Maoist Center was the first party to come to Madhesh and hold programs after the Gen-G movement.
