Prime Minister Sushila Karki held discussions with the injured of the Gen-G agitation in Baluwatar for more than 4 hours. The discussions, which began at 10:30 this morning, ended a while ago.

The injured have suggested that the government take a tough stance against the corrupt and oppressors. They have also warned that if action is not taken against the corrupt, they will take to the streets and stage another protest. A group of 18 people led by injured Rupin Khadka said that the government that came from the revolution should take revolutionary steps. On behalf of the injured, Khadka said, "What is stopping us from immediately arresting those against whom we protested? Did the rules prevent us or did the law and the constitution prevent us? Let's start removing obstacles from there."

Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal informed about the progress made in the investigation into corruption and repression during the protest.

"You are only talking about elections. Did this government come only to shift the 2084 elections to 2082?" The injured representatives said. Prime Minister Karki, Home Minister Aryal, Energy Minister Kulman Ghising, Education Minister Mahabir Pun, and Communications Minister Jagdish Kharel also participated in the discussion.

Prime Minister Karki said, "We do not go beyond the essence of the Gen-G movement. We work in a procedural manner without going below the law. We act according to the mandate given to us. Elections are also held, corruption investigations are also conducted. Established state bodies are investigating corruption at a rapid pace. Work is being done from their respective places. You should not stop speaking. Do not stop putting pressure on us. Look, the results will come now. After being investigated, you must have heard who is saying what outside."

The injured had expressed concern that some of the accused were trying to escape and hide their valuables. Home Minister Aryal had said that those who tried to escape and those who were hiding had started appearing after they could not escape, saying, "I am in Nepal."
