The government has stated that it has focused all its activities on the election as its main priority. On Saturday, at the invitation of the President and in the presence of the Prime Minister and ministers, an in-depth discussion was held at Sheetal Niwas with the heads of all four security agencies. The discussion focused on creating a political environment for the election and strengthening the security situation, according to Prime Minister Sushila Karki's secretariat.

The Central Security Committee is meeting on Sunday. Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has called the meeting. The meeting of the committee, which will be chaired by the Home Minister, will include the Home and Defense Secretaries, as well as the heads and representatives of all four security agencies.

The meeting will review the progress made in the integrated security plan being prepared by the Central Integrated Election Security Committee and provide necessary feedback and policy-level directions.

The Integrated Election Security Committee has been formed under the leadership of Anand Kafle, Chief and Joint Secretary of the Peace, Security and Crime Control Division of the Ministry of Home Affairs. Home Minister Aryal formed this committee as soon as he assumed office. The committee includes representatives of all four security agencies, and Deputy Secretary Rabindra Adhikari is the member secretary.

The security plan prepared by this committee will be sent to each district for implementation. The District Integrated Election Security Committee, led by the Chief District Officer, will implement the plan.

‘We are fully engaged in election preparations . The integrated election security plan is being developed at a rapid pace,’ said Home Minister Aryal, ‘Intensive discussions and coordination are also taking place with the Election Commission . Work is being done to ensure that there is no shortage of necessary resources for the security agencies .’
