The Election Commission is holding discussions with political parties on Thursday regarding the upcoming House of Representatives elections.

The Commission has called 29 political parties for discussions. Political parties represented in the dissolved House of Representatives, Provincial Assemblies and local levels have been called for discussions in the first phase.

There are 124 political parties registered with the Commission. The Commission has stated that 29 parties have been called in the first phase. The House of Representatives elections are being held on 21 Falgun.

The Commission is holding discussions with political parties for the first time in the context of election preparations. Similarly, since elections will be held on 20 Magh for the vacant members of the National Assembly, the Commission has also put that on the agenda for discussions.
