The government has recalled ambassadors from 11 different countries, including China.

Government Spokesperson and Minister for Communications Jagadish Kharel informed that the Cabinet meeting on Thursday decided to recall the ambassadors with political appointments. According to him, the meeting decided to recall the ambassadors of China, Germany, Israel, Qatar, Malaysia, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Britain, America and Japan.

The recalled ambassadors have been asked to return to Nepal by Kartik 20. Those recalled include Krishna Prasad Oli in China, Shail Rupakheti in Germany, Dhan Prasad Pandit in Israel, Netra Prasad Timilsina in Malaysia, Ramesh Chandra Poudel in Qatar, Jung Bahadur Chauhan in Russia, Naresh Bikram Dhakal in Saudi Arabia, Sunil Nepal in Spain, Chandra Kumar Ghimire in Britain, Lokdarshan Regmi in America and Durga Bahadur Subedi in Japan.
