In a special operation coordinated with the Nepal Police, six accused involved in the murder of Ganemulla were arrested in Kathmandu and it was revealed that they were living in shelters in Kathmandu and Bhaktapur.
According to top police sources, those arrested are Isara Seubandi (26), Jeevathasan Kanakarasa (33), Thaksi Nanthakumar (23), Dinesh Shyamantha de Silva (49), Kennedy Bastimpillai (35) and Dinesh Nisantha Kumara Vikram Achircchage (43) who live in Minuvangoda, Sri Lanka. Among them, Isara Seubandi is the prime accused in the Sanjeeva murder case which took place on 7th February 2080 in the Magistrate Court of Hulfsdorp Court Complex in Colombo.
Sometimes the embassy of the country issuing the red notice is also interested. "The Sri Lankan Embassy in Kathmandu also showed interest in this incident, after which we started monitoring," said an officer of the Nepal Police, "a team was deployed from the National Central Bureau (NCB) of Interpol in Naxal to catch this gang." He was running an organized crime racket from Malaysia and Dubai. An Interpol red notice was also issued against him and he was arrested from Indonesia on August 25. Local news organizations have also mentioned that Padye was the main planner of Sanjeeva's murder.
