The then Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, Home Minister Ramesh Ulak, Chief of Police (Inspector General) and the Chief District Officer of Kathmandu have been requested in a writ to investigate the criminal investigation. If a decision has been taken by the Government of Nepal or any ministry to create an obstacle to the said work, it has been demanded to disclose it and cancel that decision.
It has been claimed in the writ that extreme repression was on the part of the state during the 23rd movement and the firing was done accordingly. It is mentioned in the writ that an interim order should be issued in the name of the police to immediately investigate those who were involved in repression and shooting. Spokesman of the Supreme Court Arjun Koirala said that the writ has been submitted and the registration is being discussed. Apart from that, 9 writ petitions have come with the demand of annulment.
