Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, has announced that it will return the bodies of four hostages, including Nepali student Bipin Joshi, to Israel.

Hamas issued a statement claiming that they were killed during Israeli airstrikes in Gaza. Among the bodies of the four hostages to be returned are Joshi and Israeli citizens Guy Eloze, Yossi Sharabi and Daniel Peretz.

Hamas has announced that the bodies will be handed over to the Israeli side on Monday in coordination with the International Red Cross.

Israeli security officials have also confirmed that they are preparing to receive the bodies through the Red Cross.

The Hostages and Missing Forum called the move by Hamas 'painful but important'. The group said in a statement, 'These families will finally know the fate of their loved ones, although the truth is very harsh.'
