Four security challenges were discussed at the meeting of security chiefs held at the Ministry of Home Affairs.
In the meeting that was held on Thursday, there was a discussion on the challenges brought by the petition against the former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, former Home Minister Ramesh Olikar and others.
Home Minister Omprakash Aryal called Nepal Police Chief Chandrakuver Khapung, Armed Police Chief IGP Raju Aryal, National Investigation Department Chief Tekendra Karki and representatives of the Nepali Army on Thursday afternoon.
An official who participated in the meeting said that the recent security challenges were discussed.
"When the election date is announced, there was also a discussion about the security challenges, the demonstration that various groups are trying to do in the name of Gen-G," he said, "There was also a discussion about the risk that the leaders' expressions could bring."
