Highways and main roads connecting the capital Kathmandu have been blocked due to floods and landslides caused by incessant rains for three days. According to the spokesperson of the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, Superintendent of Police Nareshraj Subedi, the road leading to Kathmandu is closed until Sunday morning.

Sanga in Bhaktapur, Takuchema and Tika Bhairav ​​in Bagmati Rural Municipality-3 of Lalitpur under Kantilokpath are closed due to landslides.

The road is closed due to a big river landslide in Dharke of Sitapaila . The road from Kapan Akashe Dhara to sand mine is closed. On the other hand, the flood has damaged the Dodhare bridge of Indra Sarovar Rural Municipality of Makwanpur under Farping Cisnery. 

Not only the entrances and exits of Kathmandu, Araniko connecting the Chinese border and the BP highway connecting the east with Kathmandu are also closed. According to spokesperson Subedi, the BP highway is closed due to landslides in Roshi rural municipality-11 of Kavrepalanchok, Mamti river and Buldhunga. of the same road  Mangaltar River has cut the road in Piple, Chowkidanda. 

Bhotekosi rural municipality-4 of Sindhupalchok under Arani highway, the road has been washed away in four kilometers and the road has been closed due to landslides in Dhulikhel and 54 kilometers . Hetauda-Bhaise-Naubise road also has landslides in places due to continuous rain.
