Vehicular traffic on VP highway suspended due to heavy rains

Spokesman Prabhat Kumar Jha of the road department said that due to heavy rain in Bhakundebensi, Dhulikhel and Banepa, the vehicles coming from Kathmandu were stopped at Kavrevanjyang and those coming to Kathmandu were stopped at Mangaltar.

Vehicles plying on the VP highway have been stopped at Mangaltar in Kavre.

Spokesman Prabhat Kumar Jha of the road department said that due to heavy rain in Bhakundebensi, Dhulikhel and Banepa, the vehicles coming from Kathmandu were stopped at Kavrevanjyang and those coming to Kathmandu were stopped at Mangaltar.

According to him, vehicles will not be allowed to operate until the rain subsides. About 10,000 vehicles pass through this road every day during Dasain.
