Traffic operation on BP highway has been suspended till October 20th.
According to the decision taken by the District Security Committee Kavre meeting held on Saturday, it has been decided to stop the operation of vehicles on the Kavre Bhanjyang-Bhakundebensi-Sindhuli road section under the BP highway from 18th of October to 20th of October.
'In order to reduce the risk to vehicles and passengers due to rains and floods, the movement of all types of public and private passenger vehicles has been prohibited from 9 am on October 18, 2082 to Monday October 20, on the Kavre Bhanjyang-Bhakundeveshi-Sindhuli road section of the BP highway,' Chief District Officer Umesh Kumar Dhakal said.
He has requested the passengers who are going on a journey to stay in a safe place. Similarly, BP has requested not to travel on the highway and not to leave their residence except for essential work.
