After incessant rains, vehicles going to Kavre and other districts in the east through the Araniko highway from the valley have been stopped.

Police Inspector Kiran Rai of the District Police Office has informed that the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority has stopped the vehicles going in and out of the valley and stopped the vehicles going east from Jagati in Bhaktapur. But the vehicles going to Banepa and Dhulikhel are not stopped.

Similarly, a road section near Kiva Chowk Gundu located in Suryavinayak Municipality-7 of Bhaktapur has caused a landslide due to rain.

Due to the landslide, the traffic passing through Gundu-Kiva Chowk is completely closed to New Thimi, the police said. Other conditions are normal, police said.
