The traffic on the East-West Highway has been blocked since Saturday evening after the wind that accompanied the continuous rain uprooted trees. The vehicle stopped after a tree fell in the forest of Chandranigahpur-Bagmati section of Rautahat.
District Traffic Police Office, Rautahat informed that traffic has been blocked since 6:30 pm due to the fall of sal trees on the side of the highway.
Now traffic has stopped in both directions in that area. Security personnel are deployed to remove the tree. It is currently raining heavily across the district. Due to the wind that accompanied the rain, the traffic was blocked by falling trees.
