Long-distance and in/out of Kathmandu Valley has been closed for three days from today. The government has banned vehicle operation on October 18, 19 and 20.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority has issued a public notice today stating that the operation of vehicles has been suspended until Monday, mentioning the cause of landslides, inundation and possible disasters that may occur due to heavy rains and extremely heavy rains. 

Until Monday, no one, including transport professionals, should drive long-distance vehicles entering/exiting the Kathmandu valley unless it is essential, and the Chief District Officer and security agencies of the respective districts have been asked to monitor and monitor the matter.
