The Ministry of Home Affairs has issued instructions to the heads of 77 districts to contact them immediately if helicopters are needed for rescue.

It has been asked to contact the peace security and crime control branch of the Ministry of Home Affairs. 

Home has instructed the private sector along with the Nepali Army to keep helicopters ready for the rescue of the citizens trapped in the floods and landslides. Home has issued this instruction after discussion with CDIOs of 77 districts in the afternoon. The home has also issued instructions to all CDIs and security chiefs to be available in the office 24 hours a day.

Due to the incessant rains across the country that started on Friday, the Ministry has issued eight-point instructions in view of the blocking of highways and the situation of monsoon disaster.
