Currently, three organizations related to tourism in Nepal have announced that they will conduct a free rescue campaign for the rescue and assistance of the common people in the disaster situation after the incessant rains that are happening in different parts of the country.

Nepal Airline Operators Association, Nepal Mountaineering Association and Nepal Rafting Association (NARA) have pledged to use their resources, resources and manpower to help the general public free of charge during the disaster.

According to Manoj Karki, president of the Nepal Airline Operators Association, about 30 helicopters of the 11 member helicopter companies of the association have been kept ready for rescue . "It has been decided to provide free air rescue services by the member companies in disaster incidents in the Kathmandu Valley," said President Karki. For this, the association has also informed that it has written to the Nepal Civil Aviation Authority to appoint a coordinating officer.

Similarly, Nepal Mountaineering Association (NMA) has mobilized a team of highly trained guides in coordination with Lalitpur Police Complex for disaster management. According to the president of the association, Phur Gelje Sherpa, the guides of the association are ready for rescue in the Kathmandu Valley. "As the heavy rains will continue for a few more days, our team is on alert in the areas of potential risk," Sherpa said. The

association has requested the public to inform them immediately through the contact number or notification provided on the Facebook page if necessary.

Along with three organizations in the tourism sector, the Nepal National Mountaineering Guide Association has also mobilized its skilled guides.  

Meanwhile, Nepal Rafting Association (NARA) has said that all the subordinate companies are ready for rescue and assistance in river disasters. According to Nara President Kamal Bahadur Thakuri, if rescue is needed through rafting boats in Kathmandu Valley and surrounding areas, the contact numbers available on the association's official Facebook page or website can be contacted directly.

The association has said that for rescue work, the vice president Shuk Bahadur Lama, outgoing president Shiv Adhikari, former presidents Chandra Bahadur Dahal, Mahendrasingh Thapa, former vice president Megh Bahadur Ale, general secretary Churamani Aryal, secretary Devraj Jaishi and president Kamal Bahadur Thakuri can be contacted directly. The statement issued by the

slogan says, 'Citizens living in river banks and coastal areas should be vigilant. If necessary, we are always ready for rescue .'

According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, the heavy rains in different parts of the country are likely to continue for the next three days. Rescue mechanisms are on high alert to mitigate possible risks and disasters.
