Preparedness has been increased after the weather forecasting department gave a warning that the flow of water in the rivers will increase and there may be floods and landslides.

In view of the possible disaster, the armed police force has increased patrolling in the river areas of the valley. According to Shailendra Thapa, Assistant Spokesperson of the Armed Police Force, along with patrolling, awareness miking has also been done in the area around the river.

 

'In view of the possible monsoon disaster, patrolling and miking has been done in Chobhar, Balkhu, Balaju, Machhapokhari Banasthali and other places on Friday evening,' Thapa said, 'The armed police force has specially identified the river banks and the places where there may be flooding and patrolled and miked there.'

Meanwhile, Home Minister Omprakash Aryal also inspected various armed police units of the valley on Friday. Preparedness has been increased after the Department of Meteorological Forecasting said that the flow of water in the rivers will increase and there may be floods and landslides. In this case, Home Minister Aryal has reached various units and instructed them to be ready with resources and tools. 

Diver trained for disaster management with armed police, disaster rescue  There are manpower, raft boats, motorboats, heavy equipment, mass casualty vehicles and other materials. Home Minister Aryal also inspected Nepal Police Disaster Management Office, Samakhushi on Friday afternoon. The Ministry of Home Affairs has also instructed the districts that may be affected by the disaster to prepare.
