On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Nepal and China, the China Vlogger Meet 2025 was held at Hotel Crown Imperial in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
The event featured leading creators, influencers and storytellers from both countries to discuss cultural exchange, collaboration, and the future of vlogging and digital media in the region. The
program emphasized the role of digital storytelling in strengthening cultural diplomacy, promoting tourism and strengthening people-to-people relations between Nepal and China. In the
program, Minister of Tourism and Culture of Bagmati Province, Suresh Shrestha, Director of Nepal Tourism Board, Sunil Sharma, Vice President of Nepal Tourism Board, Kamal Sapkota, President of Trekking Agency Association of Nepal, Sagar Pandey, tourism expert Dr. Alok Prasai and others were present.
Minister Suresh Shrestha said that on the occasion of 70 years of Nepal-China friendship, digital creators are strengthening cross-border relations by bringing Nepal's cultural richness to the world. A team of leading vloggers from China participated in the
program and made the exchange more exciting. Vloggers from China Long Kyu, Wang Lili, Lei Keixin, Li Liwei, Zheng Dan, Xiang Rong, Li Huajiang, Mai Xuan Yu, and Ma Yue participated .
They participated in interactive sessions sharing their experiences with Nepali creators. They discussed opportunities to collaborate in creating content to promote tourism, lifestyle, culture and innovation.
China Vlogger Meet 2025 concluded with a shared vision of empowering digital voices, promoting cultural exchange, and building a stronger creative partnership between Nepal and China.
