On the recommendation of the commission, the government banned five people including Oli from traveling abroad

The Ministry of Home Affairs has decided to suspend the passports of five people including outgoing Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. They have been banned from going abroad on the recommendation of the commission formed to investigate the suppression of Gen-G movement.

Similarly, they have been banned from going out of Kathmandu Valley without permission. If they have to go for some special work, they have to get permission from the commission.  The Ministry of Home Affairs has recently taken such a decision based on the recommendations of the

commission. According to the recommendations of the commission, the then Prime Minister Oli, the Home Minister Ramesh Ukhtar,  Passports of Home Secretary Gokarnamani Duwadi, Head of National Investigations Hutraj Thapa and Chief District Officer of Kathmandu Chhabi Rizal have been suspended. The information that was stopped in this way has been sent to the Immigration Department and other agencies today.

19 people were killed when the police used lethal weapons during the Gen-G movement on August 23. But the Ministry of Home Affairs at that time gave an instruction to 'prevent the crowd from going towards the Federal Parliament Building at any cost'. After that, the chief district officer of Kathmandu, Chabbi Rizal, gave the order to shoot.
