The Ministry of Finance has given instructions to reduce the facilities taken by the former political and administrative officials against the prevailing laws.

According to the decision of the Government of Nepal (Council of Ministers) on October 5, in order to reduce unproductive expenses and maintain frugality, the Ministry has asked the former political and administrative officials who have retired from service to provide/enable only the service facilities mentioned in the prevailing laws and in accordance with the approved standards .

The Ministry of Finance has instructed the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of Defense through a letter on Friday to promptly implement/have the work of returning such vehicles, goods, assistants, security personnel and suspending other service facilities if they have been provided other than according to the law .
