The Prison Management Department has formed a task force under the coordination of the Assistant Chief District Officer of the respective district to search and arrest the prisoners who escaped by vandalizing and arsoning the prisons during the 'Zen-G' movement and the subsequent demonstrations in the district.

Under the coordination of the Assistant Chief District Officer of the district where vandalism and arson occurred, the department has formed a 'Task Force to Search and Arrest Fugitive Prisoners' on Friday. Along with the formation of the working group, the department has also decided to proceed with the process so that if it does not return within 20 October, additional action will be taken according to the law.   According to Chomendra Neupane, director of the

department, according to the records before 23rd and 24th of August, the records of the prisoners who returned and those who are yet to be updated will be updated, the prisoners will be appealed to return to the prison within 20 October, and if not, action will be taken according to the law, for that, information will be published/broadcast as soon as possible, the details of the prisoners who are yet to be returned will also be sent to the update task force formed in other districts, schools/universities to facilitate the investigation. The task order is to send the list of escaped prisoners to tolls, clubs, public vehicles, bus parks, entertainment places, border crossings and other places deemed necessary. Such information has been instructed to be sent from the district administration to the department, Ministry of Home Affairs, Nepal Police, Armed Police, National Investigation Department, Passport Department, Foreign Employment Department, media etc. The department has also appealed to everyone to help in the search, saying that action will be taken against those who hide/hide the escaped prisoners.
