Bharatpur divisional road office is using five machines since Thursday morning to clear the landslide that fell in Tuinkhola near Muglin on Narayangadh-Muglin road.
This road has been closed since five o'clock on Tuesday afternoon after the landslide. It is not certain whether the road will be opened today or not because it was unable to work until late at night after it rained yesterday evening. Engineer Krishna Acharya, Information Officer of the Divisional Road Office, said that many machines could not be used due to the narrowness of the place where the landslide occurred.
That's why it will take time to clear the landslide and open the road, he says. The main road that connects the capital Kathmandu with the eastern and western parts of the country has been affected by landslides since last Friday in Tuin Khola in Ichchakamana rural municipality-5 on the Narayangadh-Muglin road.
There are not many buses and passengers on the road now. But there is a big jam of trucks carrying goods. In which the trucks carrying Khasi Boka, Ranga to Sugar, Onion, Vegetables, Foodstuffs and Fuel going to Kathmandu for Dashain are stopped on the way.
